June 2008 Bridgend Borough Council have refused permission for the anemometer mast. This decision will be appealed. May 2008: Temporary Anemometer Mast Plannning Application To design the windfarm it is necessary to measure the wind speeds in advance. We have applied for planning permission to erect a temporary anemometer mast on the windfarm site. This will be a thin steel tube supported by guys. It should be erected for about 1 to 2 years. This is not part of the windfarm and does not indicate that the windfarm will go ahead.
