The site itself is private land without any footpaths or public rights of way across it and rarely visited by the public. The windfarm would therefore have no impact on the amenity of users of the site.

The windfarm is small, set back from the coastline and outside the northwest extreme of the heritage coast. The Heritage coast extends 20km away down the coast and the windfarm is not expected to have any impact on the enjoyment of this coastline.

The nearest nature reserves; Kenfig Pool and Merthyr Mawr Warren are 4km and 2.5km away. The nearest Country Park is Margam Park, 7km to the northwest. The windfarm is not expected to affect the bird populations of these reserves.
